Practice Practice

john fowkes Architects was established in 2010 in the Vale of Belvoir village of Long Clawson, in Leicestershire. The practice has gained a reputation for combining stylish design work with an excellent high quality and discreet service.
John has thirty years experience as an architect in private practice working on complex award winning projects. These include projects at St Paul’s Church for the Diocese of London, the Tower of London and East Sussex National.  John has also designed a number of contemporary new build houses along with restoration projects at historic and Listed country houses.

In 2016 James Irvine and Eve Williams joined John Fowkes Architects. Both have Postgraduate Diplomas in Advanced Environmental and Energy Studies from The Centre for Alternative Technology in Machynlleth. The practice therefore has a commitment to conservation and the use and incorporation of sustainable materials.

In 2011 the practice moved to new premises in Buckminster, which places the office centrally to our work in Lincolnshire, Leicestershire and Rutland. We have a street fontage and welcome visitors at anytime.
